Student Application Form
The application to become a member of ³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s Honors Forum involves your on-line
submission of a personal statement and a faculty recommendation. The student, faculty,
and administrative members of the ³Ô¹ÏÍø Honors Forum Council will carefully review
your personal statement, faculty recommendation, and ³Ô¹ÏÍø transcript. They are
looking for students who have a passion for learning and who will use their Honors
Forum membership to enrich the community. It is important that you treat your personal
statement seriously and write it well. It is also important that you choose a faculty
recommender whom you believe can speak first to your specific academic strengths and
second to the personal qualities that will make you a contributing member of ³Ô¹Ï꿉۪s
Honors Forum.
Honors Forum membership is competitive and is limited to approximately ten percent
of the first-year and sophomore classes. Please think carefully about your personal
statement. In considering whether to apply, you should look at the Honors Forum website,
especially the member's guide and past newsletters, to see whether Honors Forum membership
is for you.
