Yelena Biberman-Ocakli, associate professor of political science, and Bernard Possidente, professor of biology, co-authored aScience journal letter entitled "" in response to Nobel Prize winner Jennifer Doudna's article.

Jennifer Mueller, associate professor of sociology and director of the Intergroup Relations Program, co-authored , which was published in Sociology of Race and Ethnicity. 

Laurie Rabinowitz, assistant professor of educations studies, made two paper presentations at the Association of Teacher Educators Conference in Jacksonville, Florida. Her first presentation was titled "." The second presentation was called "." 

Bernardo Ramirez Rios, assistant professor of anthropology, has been named a for the 2023-2024 academic year. As scholar-in-residence, Rios will further his research on sports and culture and contribute to the Restoring Hope, Restoring Trust initiative
