Hajar Hussaini, visiting assistant professor of English, published translations of two poems by Maral Taheri in and two poems by Mariam Meetra in . Both authors are from the Afghanistan diaspora, and this is their first translation into English. 

Stephen Ives, associate professor of health and human physiological sciences, Visiting Assistant Professor Justin DeBlauw and Teaching Professor Chris Kotarsky of the Health and Human Physiological Sciences Department, Will Hoerle '24, and Oliver Blum '23 presented research at the MidAtlantic Regional Chapter of the in Lancaster, PA. Alumnus Mike Ormsbee '02 was the keynote speaker.

Vojtech Kejzlar, assistant professor of statistics, is the lead author of a scientific paper, titled Local Bayesian Dirichlet mixing of imperfect models, that was just published in .
