Rachel Cantave, assistant professor of international affairs, published "Pursuing Racial Order and Social Progress: Violence, Afrophobia and Religious Racism in Brazil" in .

Joowon Park, director of Asian studies and associate professor of anthropology, gave a book talk at the University of South Carolina. His book, Belonging in a House Divided, was published by the University of California Press in 2023.
