Anthony Ashmore, visiting assistant professor of physics, was interviewed for an article in , AI Starts to Sift Through String Theorys Near-Endless Possibilities, about using AI and machine learning to get testable predictions from string theory models of particle physics.

Ruben Castillo, assistant professor of printmaking, presented their research in a talk titled "Queer Contact Across Archives" at the Southern Graphics Council International 2024 printmaking conference, Verified by Proof. Castillos presentation was part of the panel "Reading Between the Lines: Notes from the Archive."

Evan Mack, senior teaching professor of music, founded a nonprofit, We Are Instrumental, that was recently in conjunction with three other nonprofit partners. Jess Sullivan, professor of psychology, has been named a . During the fellowship, she will work at the New York State Office of Child and Family Services in the Division of Childcare, where she will be developing research-based tools for defining high quality childcare.
