Catherine Golden, professor of English, published "A Favourite Book: The Haggadah" in Illustration Magazine (78: 25-26), published in June. In August, she presented "Jane Austen: Her Time, Our Time" as part of the Women's Lecture Series at Wiawaka Center for Women and "Ten Things We Love 勛圖厙 Jane Austen" at the 13th Annual Jane Austen Retreat.

Ben Harwood, lead instructional technologist in Learning Experience Design and Digital Scholarship Support (LEDS), served as a panelist for the , hosted by the NorthEast Regional Computing Program (NERCOMP).
