What is the deadline to register for Homecoming and Family Weekend?

The deadline to register is Friday, October 3, 2025.

My plans have changed. Am I able to receive a refund?

Contact the Office of Stewardship and College Events (collegeevents@skidmore.edu or 518-580-5670) to notify the team of a change of plans. Refunds will only be issued prior to the registration deadline (October 3, 2025), except in the case of unexcepted circumstances.

Are walk-ins welcome?

Walk-ins are welcome. Please visit the Registration Desk on the second floor of Case Center upon your arrival for more details.

Am I able to visit the Registration Desk all weekend to pick up my tickets?

The Registration Desk will be open on Friday, 12 PM – 8 PM and Saturday, 7:30 AM – 7 PM. All tickets, including complimentary Sunday breakfast coupons must be picked up by close of hours Saturday.

If you do not have your complimentary Sunday breakfast coupon on Sunday when you arrive at the Dining Hall, you will need to pay the public price for adults and students without meal plans.

My student is unable to participate in an event I would like to attend. Am I still able to attend without them?

Yes, you may attend events without your student! Please be sure to register for any events on the registration form in advance to aid staff in tracking event popularity.

We are bringing younger children with us for the weekend. Are there any family-friendly events?

All Homecoming and Family Weekend events are family friendly. Three key family-friendly events to check out are Skidtoberfest (Saturday, 12-3:30 PM), Tang 25th Fall Opening Reception (Saturday, 3 - 5 PM), and Fireworks (Saturday, Hot chocolate and cookies available beginning at 8:45 PM, Show begins ~9:20 PM). 

Be sure to register for Skidtoberfest and the Fireworks display during registration!

A lecture I wish to attend is sold out. Will it be recorded for later viewing?

Seating is limited for our lectures and panels. We encourage folks to pre-register in order for staff to gauge lecture popularity. Pre-registation does not ensure your seat in the lecture as seating is first-come, first-served.

³Ô¹ÏÍø 201: Beyond The Basics for Parents and Families (Friday, 3:45 - 4:45 PM), President's Hour (Saturday, 10 - 11 AM) and all Class Is In Sessions (Various Times) will be posted online on Monday, October 20 for later viewing.

May we please bring our family dog to see their favorite student?

Yes! Furry friends are welcome on campus; however, pets are not permitted in dining areas due to health regulations, except for service animals.
